My dad is a Navy Chaplain being based with the Marines on the main island. So i am wondering what things would people recomend us to do? We are a family of five but possibly the oldest child isn't going to be coming with us.
So what things should we know of here? Local customs, foods, and things so we aren't disrespectful.
What things can we do in our off time to explore this lovely island as well.
Would i be able to do decent in a public high school there?
My family includes my Dad (mid forties), my Mom (one year older then dad), my eldest sister (24, but possibly not coming), myself (16, turning 17 there. I am a teenage boy), and my younger sister (13, turning 14 there).
