Hey guys,
I have wanted to move to Japan for a while now, my current job is okay with me moving as long as the job gets done, so income will not be an issue. Im confused however on the best way to actually do this without a job in Japan. I am hoping to move winter of 2026 and I'd like to stay for a year (with hopefully the option to extend for another year), but because I'm not going to be working for a japanese company, it seems the only visa I qualify for is a language student visa. I just wanted to make sure this is actually the case and if so whats the best recommended school for someone wanting to live in Tokyo? Thank you for any help.
