On one hand, you stand by tradition and have the world title main event the show (after all, it's a double title match as well) and involves two young guys , one in particular is definitely going to be The guy for New Japan going forward and the other one of the hottest wrestlers on the planet. Yota Tsuji is going to be the man for the company going forward, it seems like and Takeshita is on the run of his life (so far).
On the other hand, you have the reason the building sold out in the first place, the biggest draw: Hiroshi Tanahashi's retirement. In the same building both he and Okada cemented themselves as the aces of their time. In the same building both men have essentially owned in the last almost 20 years, having one last showdown to see Tana's career into the sunset.
You run the risk of people being emotionally drained if Tana/Okada is the semi-main, but worse: people might leave before the main event. It might be doom thinking, but it's something that's crossed my mind.
But anyways, what match should go on last? What makes the most sense and what will be the best possible outcome for the show?
