Moving to Japan with a CS Degree

As the title says,

My goal is to work full time in Japan after graduation in a tech related field. I already know the pay scale is lower etc. and I'm fine with that.

For my background, I am an upcoming Computer Science major in the US (Bachelor's), graduating in May of 2028. I've been taking Japanese classes at my University for about a year, including self studying outside of class and I'm around N4 to N3 level now. I still have 2.5 years before graduating and believe N2 by graduation is realistic for me. If I tried to apply to jobs to Japan my qualifications would be the major, several side projects I've worked on and (hopefully) the N2 certification. Also will mention I did a study abroad program in Japan last summer for a month, not sure if that will help at all but I could put it onto the resume.

I have several questions:

  1. Obviously it would be great if I could get an internship in Japan before graduation, what's the best place to look for those and what would be my chances of landing one now at my current level?

  2. I really want to get back to Japan so I want to try moving abroad immediately or very quickly following my graduation. How competitive is the market for junior/entry-level positions and do companies hire foreign fresh grads directly, or is experience required first? If I am able to get the N2 certification combined with my degree would it be enough to find positions?

  3. When should I start applying if I want to move right after graduation? Are there any specific hiring seasons for foreign new grads?
