Any consequences for reneging job offer after I sign?

Essentially I was laid off earlier a couple months ago, and I was interviewing with several companies over the last few weeks. Mostly rejections. But I successfully managed to get 3 job offers, just at different timings.

The first offer was too low, only 6M a year. So I declined it.

2nd offer was better at 8M with a potential 8M bonus, but I was also close to finishing final stages with a different company. And that final meeting was scheduled 1 day before the signing date. So I just signed offer 2 and continued the interview.

Offer 3 just came in, 12M base with a potential 8M bonus.

Both are the same jobs. But offer 2 is a Chinese startup company and offer 3 is a London based company with a 30 year presence in Japan.

Both had good people, but I feel like I’d be stupid to not take the 12M offer.

Both offers have the same start date of January 12th.

Would there be any negative consequences for reneging the signed offer?

For extra details offer 2 was through a third party recruitment company, the 3rd offer was a direct application.
