If you think Takeshita should remain as IWGP champion. What is your genuine argument for it?

I personally think it's, well, straight booking malpractice. I've seen a lot of people say he should remain champion, but most of those people literally don't even watch NJPW. Assuming you're a new Japan guy, what's your argument for it?
