I have noticed that IP lawyers are desired. Especially those who possess a strong analytical skill in health law, to commercialise pharmaceutical or medical products, are sought after. Having a medical degree would probably make my dream come true. However, I am not confident that getting dual degrees is worth it — to stand out among other applicants.
I’ve noticed that it is easier for tech people and engineers than it is for lawyers and even physicians to get recruited. So even though I would do my utmost to actually realise my desire of relocating to Japan, I have my concerns of not being successful. This makes me question the idea to pursue a medical degree but rather a IT degree. The environment seems to be more international than that of big law and medical research.
Is there any lawyer or physician who managed to relocate to Japan on this sub?
