Hi,
I was looking into home solar and battery setups, adn the subsidies from the Tokyo government are quite incredible. But I was a little irritated that the inverters were limited to 9.9kw and the batteries I'm begin shown have a max discharge of 5.6kw.
I'm looking to install solar panels with a capacity (max) of 20 kW and battery capacity of 30-40kWh (we use a lot of power, even in winter, I am running at 1500/mo). Does anyone have familiarity with the Japanese laws in regards to this? It seems the grid doesn't want Feed in of greater than 9.9kW, but then , I have no interest in feeding any of the power into the grid and am happy to be completely off grid for the solar (but the home, of course, still needs access to tepco in case we get a long series of bad weather days or bad production or anything).
Would love if someone has a good explanation.
