Japanese mythology be like:

Kuchisake-onna: Appears.

Random passerby: Is scared to death.

Kuchisake-onna: Am I beautiful?
(She removes her mask, revealing her slit, horribly mutilated mouth.)


1.) Random passerby: No.

Kuchisake-onna: How dare you. Then I’ll kill you.

She kills the passerby.


2.) Random passerby: Yes.

Kuchisake-onna: If I’m beautiful, then why not make you beautiful too?

She takes out a pair of scissors and slits the passerby’s mouth to match her own.

She kills the passerby.
