I was curious for those who are a part of the Partnership System (パートナーシップ制度) and who applied for Permanent Residence or naturalized, did they take into account your partner's information/payment history (ex. for paying taxes, health insurance, pension, etc.)? For permanent residence, I'm interested for those who did it via the 10 years residence route.
I was curious because being a part of the Partnership System, it's not a "marriage" in the eyes of the government, so I wasn't sure how much of my partner's history they would take into account when applying for permanent residence or naturalizing.
