WK20 FanFest (Jan 3) Signing Schedule and HOW TO GET TICKETS (you do not get them at the event)

Update: Tickets are now on sale. The Young Lions and Finlay/Gedo sessions have sold out. Update 12/20: K.O.B now sold out as well. Update 12/21: Ishii/Taichi sold out.

Update 12/23: Everything has sold out. There will be no signing tickets sold on the day.

Signing schedule:

  • 11:00 — Knock Out Brothers (OSKAR, Yuto-Ice)
  • 11:00 — Tenzan and Kojima
  • 12:00 — Finlay and Gedo
  • 12:15 — Bishamon (YOSHI-HASHI, Hirooki Goto)
  • 13:00 — Masatora Yasuda, Tatsuya Matsumoto, Zane Jay, Katsuya Murashima, Shoma Kato
  • 13:00 — Ishii and Taichi

You do not need one of the sold out FanFest tickets to attend the signings. You do need a separate type of signing ticket per signing session/group of talent, not per time slot. You can attend both sessions that are happening at the same time, you just need to buy the tickets for both sessions. These are not photo sessions. As far as I know there will not be photo sessions at this event.

Tickets will be sold first online, on NJPW’s Japanese Shop. Tickets go on sale at 12:00pm (aka noon) on December 20th Japan time. Add your location/timezone to this to see what time that is for you. If tickets do not sell out by 12/29, they will be selling them at the event; however historically they have always sold out beforehand.

How to purchase:

You must purchase a relevant piece of merchandise and a signing ticket for each signing you would like to attend. At 12pm on the 20th, this link will become active, and it will tell you which specific items are eligible purchases for each signing. Note that this item will not be what the talent will be signing, instead the signatures will be on a sturdy board with an NJPW or WK20 logo on it. The link should also have the links to the signing tickets in the shop, which will be an individual ticket for each signing; so if you want to attend the K.O.B signing you must make sure to add the K.O.B signing ticket, not any other ticket.

  • You must have one of the relevant items and the correct signing ticket in your cart when you check out. If you only have one of those things in your cart, you cannot attend the signing. You cannot try to make a separate purchase to add an item you forgot.

  • You must have one ticket per fan who will be participating. You can only buy one ticket for each signing in your order. You can not place multiple orders. This means if you and your friend/partner/etc would both like to attend, you both need to place separate orders. Your friend/partner/etc will not even be able to be in line with you if they do not have a ticket. The only exception is elementary school or younger kids, who do not need a ticket when accompanied by a parent, or people older than that who need an adult accompanying them for medical reasons.

  • You must select “pick up at venue on 1/3” as your shipping method. However if you do pick the wrong venue/date for pick up and have a signing ticket in your order, the staff will change your pickup date to 1/3.

Tips

  • Create a Japanese shop account beforehand and enter all the relevant information. In order to familiarize yourself with the site, I would also highly suggest just putting a random item in your cart and going through as much of the checkout process as possible without fully completing the order. Because you are not having anything shipped, you do not need to use a third party shipping service like Tenso.

  • Before the on-sale time, go through the page (which can be found here) for each talent you want to try and get a signing ticket for to pick a couple items you would like and add them to your cart. (I believe for the Young Lions it will probably be the Lion Mark raglan shirt and maybe the generic WK or NJPW merch.) That way once the list of eligible items is up you can just remove the items you don’t need from your cart, instead of having to go through and figure out what you want and the correct apparel sizing to order. Also you can have other stuff in your order that is not related to the signing, you will still just pick it all up at the venue.

  • Be on time and start refreshing early. You are competing with the Japanese fans for tickets.

The Japanese announcement is here, please machine translate it and double check that there isn’t any information that’s relevant to you but I may have missed. Feel free to ask any questions, and if I happen to think of anything I’d missed I’ll add it to the post.
