  1. There’ll be tons of room for tax cuts now that they’ll charge a 50-100k/year subscription for us to reside in Japan.

  2. Another day, another expensive giveaway from Takaichi, in a nation already groaning under the weight lf government debt.

Will it stop before the inevitable bond market crisis and run on the yen?

  3. Depending on where you work, they’ll count your travel reimbursement/housing allowance/ bonus and unused vacation payout as income, and I think it’s to raise your NHI cost. If it hits your bank account, it counts as income, unless specifically flagged otherwise. That’s unusual. In other countries, taxation tries to measure the economic benefit. In Japan, taxation measures the monetary visibility.

  4. I don’t want more cars. The air is already trashed. Take all this bs and spend it on infrastructure.

  5. Do people here want more taxes? lol The message from the electorate in the previous election was pretty clear, and I’m glad there’s tax relief to improve disposable income.
