D Neobank Docomo SMTB Net Bank – nothing like a coherent brand identity, eh?
I think this bank is best known for its relatively cheap floating rate home loans.
They had a line on the website about how, following the name change, Docomo mobile users would qualify for preferential home loan rates.
Will this be meaningful and will it apply to existing borrowers, I wonder.
Out of all the Japanese banks I had accounts with so far (4 in total), this one has by far the best mobile app and website.
Well, this is unexpected. I was actually planning to open an account with them when I had time, but now there’s no point. I can’t stand docomo and don’t have a docomo line anyway.
