Curious to hear from either someone who has stayed at both properties or is familiar with areas of Osaka. Trying to decide between Ritz-Carlton or St Regis for 6 day/5 nights (day trips planned) in Osaka. STR looks to be convenient to Hommachi station with RC near Osaka station (but not Shin-Osaka). Day trips would be relatively nearby (Nara, Kobe, Maishima) and the rest diving into Osaka (unless there ends up being something we couldn’t do in Kyoto that we want to revisit).
Appreciate a perspective specifically on those two hotels but open if there’s an option I’m missing. No ryokans – doing that elsewhere.
