For context, my 2 friends and I, (18), all went for a 2 week trip to Japan last April and they were the 2 best weeks of our lives. Since you’re only 18 with disposable income once, we’re thinking of going again— this time for a month in May-June. I planned it all out last time, but this time the logistics are a little different lodging wise. We wanna visit different cities besides Tokyo of course, but hotels for a whole month in different cities is much more expensive than a airbnb in Tokyo for a month. What do yall recommend? Home base in Tokyo and take a few cheap hotel days in Osaka/Kyoto? Bite the bullet and hotels in all different cities? We were thinking maybe even a week in Seoul just because it’s something new. Any advice at all is super super appreciated, thank you!
