Stricter rules for concert tickets: How do I register a foreign credit card on eplus?

Good morning everyone!
I have purchased concert tickets in – and outside – Japan since over 15 years.

I dod have an plus account and usually pay via convenience store or ask a friend in Japan to pay for me when Im overseas. Honestly, I dont wantto annoy my friends all the time plus a lot of them decide to leave Japan so the people I can ask for help is decreasing ww

I wanted to register my VISA credit card, but eplus asks me for the manufacturing date of my credit card and I have no way of finding out this exact date. Eplus couldnt help me, neither could my bank.

Recently the rules for eplus tickets got super strict, at least for utaite concerts (I usuallly go to concerts form visual kei bands so there are no issues). They decided that if you have a friend who purchased a ticket for you and they are NOT present on the day of the concert, hence not going with you, sending the ticket from your friends acc to your acc is appearantly "fraud" (since many many people resell tickets for an insane amount on other websites.)

In the past I had no issues buying a ticket – some even resell them for a reasonable price if they cant go due to sickness or whatever – and even though there was a different name on the ticket, nobody at the venue cared. But now, it is said that if you have a different name on your ticket than it is written on your ID, it will be fraud and you will be denied entry PLUS you will be restricted from going to any future concerts of this artist. I dont know how they want to control that, but I dont want to risk it.

I might go back to my home country and give up my visa for Japan, but I am worried that if I odnt have anyone who can do my convenience store payments when I am overseas, that I will not be able to go to any concert since the lotteries usually start months in advance.

Does anyone have an idea what I can do to register a credit card there? I have a VISA card from Germany, but for example a friend from the US was somehow able to register their american credit card…

I would be happy for any advice! Thank you ^___^
