Greetings,
Please, ignore previous posts or username, as I made this when I was much younger.
I am a 24 years old Chilean EFL teacher, with a bachelor's (or undergraduate, never really understood the difference) degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language for primary, secondary and high school. I would to know possible, and fun, would be to teach for a year or so in Japan as an EFL teacher (not as any assistant role). I am currently working as a teacher in my country, and have the monetary capacity of saving money for travelling through working holiday. However, I am not sure if this would be the best option.
Moreover, I created a profile in Search Associates, but the registration fare is 100$ (I completed all the other steps).
Is this a good opportunity? Is it better to go to another country? Could I live without worrying about not paying my bills during my stay?
Lastly, as a teacher, my focus is also on experiencing different realities, so my teaching strategies and perceptions become better, holistically speaking, so I could improve my own pedagogical practices over time.
