I live in Tokyo and I want to buy 1kg chicken for 1person to be eatern through out 6days. Most 1kg packs have expiry of 3 4 days. Only 2kg chicken packs from Gyomu or hanamasa have 6days expiry. But 2kg can't be finished in 1 week for me. Please suggest discount supaas for this with cheaper rates (60-70 yen/100g)

Put it in the freezer.
Do you not have a freezer? Can’t you buy 2kg and freeze it?
How about using your freezer?
Freeze or cook by the 4th day and store in the fridge, no big deal.
Cook the whole thing, freeze portions.
Either freeze it, or if you cook it then you can keep cooked chicken in the fridge for about 4-5 days.
I couldn’t imagine leaving raw meat in the fridge for six days… wth?
Portion out. Most in freezer. Take out portions to thaw and cook as needed.
How it is usually done. Takes away any urgency or danger.
Give me the rest thank you
Most people are suggesting to freeze the portions. But I’m little skeptical about doing it since I recently had food poisoning despite doing it. The pack is generally vacuum sealed but my storage conditions might not be safe enough at times. So wanted to make sure it is consumed within the expiry.
Cook then freeze or freeze then cook. These are basic adult things you learn at 18 years old…
