Hey all! This is a very specific post, but thought I'd see if anyone had any recommendations. Moved here last year from Chicago, and my favorite restaurant in the world is Chicago's Warlord. I've had dozens and dozens of incredible meals here and in Japan in general, but I've yet to find anything that scratches that specific itch; does anyone who's familiar with it have any recommendations for a restaurant in Tokyo that's similar to Warlord?
To my mind, the hallmarks of Warlord are the woodfire grill, playfulness with the menu (highly seasonal, changes nightly), focus on interesting techniques such as fermentation, close to 3-man for two people, etc. Would love to find something similar, or even just with a similar ethos; what are your recommendations?
