Can I register a Pasmo card to Google wallet with a English name?

I bought a Pasmo commuters pass yesterday using my English name. Today when I'm trying to register it to my Google wallet, it keeps telling me to put my name in Katakana, so I put it in Katakana. When I'm finally ready to register the card, it keeps telling me that the information I put on the card doesn't match my physical card. I double checked everything, tried full width, half width but it still won't let me register because it isn't in Katakana.
