So I recently found out about the JET Programme and it kind of caught my eye, and I wanted to find more information of people that participated, since I don't know anyone that did it. I work right now as marketeer/administrative role in a Cybersecurity and ML company and have 4 years of experience, and although I like where I am right now, I would like in a near future challenge myself to a new role and a new lifestyle when Im still young (27 years at this time) and have the possibility of having a memorable experience outside of my comfort zone (Im portuguese, but already lived in Germany).
I saw the JET CIR Programme and it felt the most interesting of the 3 that they have. But the thing is that I never learned Japanese, so I think I would be eleminated at first (?) but nevertheless its the one that i wanted the most.
If it is necessary, I will not go at the 2026 edition, I dont mind to wait and learn a new language if possible.
I am asking here if someone was from a marketing field as well and did this, and if so, how was the experience, and how it is your career right now.
