How does Miyakojima actually feel around Nov 11?

Hi everyone,

I’m planning a trip to Miyakojima around November 11 and I’ve already gone deep into the climate stats. I’ve checked all the usual sites, averages, rainfall charts, sea temps, wind, everything.

What I’m missing is how it actually feels on the ground.

When it says “chance of rain” in November, what does that usually mean in real life?
Is it:

  • quick tropical showers that pass in 10–30 minutes
  • or grey skies and steady rain that can wipe out a whole day?

And when it does rain, does it usually:

  • come and go
  • or stick around for hours?

Also curious how the wind and humidity feel that time of year. Is it still beach-pleasant, or already starting to feel like winter?

Basically I’m trying to figure out whether mid-November is mostly usable beach / outdoor weather or more hit-and-miss.

Would really appreciate hearing from locals or anyone who’s been there around that time. Thanks!
