I don't really know where to start, but I've been living in Tokyo for the last 5 or so years and I quite enjoy my life here. I switched to a BM visa to sort of work on my own terms making small indie games, and I've been able to just barely get by so far.
But with all the new changes to the rules and my visa renewal coming up, the biggest challenge being that I must hire a full time employee, I might be forced to leave and return to Canada.
I'm just looking for advice since I'm pretty lost. I basically earn just enough to sustain myself so hiring someone at this stage is not really realistic.
I'd like to stay if I can, I really dislike driving so the Japanese public transport is a godsend…
But in the event I have to leave, what should I do with my マンション and furniture etc.?
I should probably note, I do own the マンション.
