I would like to apply for JET this year. But I do worry I may be too old for it, I’m 30F. I have an associates in graphic design, a bachelor’s in History and a lot of professional work experience including management and mentorship roles, but no teaching.
I’m definitely an introvert, and currently working fully remote in a design role. I’d just like the experience of living in Japan, and I understand it doesn’t help my career.
Has anyone been in a similar position of leaving an established career and do you regret it?
