Question about housing contracts and fees for moving out by contract conclusion date

I’ve been in a sharehouse owned by a small company for the past 5 months. My 6 month fixed term contract is ending on the 5th of February and I decided to move out by that date. The company’s communication surrounding this is a bit confusing.

They initially sent me another contract to sign in the event of being interested in continuing, and then after I informed them of my moving out, I then received more documents to fill out surrounding the moving out process. One part of the document mentions needing to inform the sharehouse of plans to move out one month in advance, or else they’ll charge more based on that. However, the original contract states “The Contract expires at the end of the contract period as specified above and shall not be renewed.” I feel that the contract conclusion date already reflects a date with plans to move out, and they also owe me my deposit rather than trying to stack up more fees as I’ve paid each month of rent in time.

In the event they try to stack up more fees as I’ve informed them 3 weeks in advance rather than 4, would I be able to reference the contract conclusion date and wording of the contract itself that says it doesn’t automatically renew?
