Can a company unilaterally remove benefits from a contractor (契約社員)?

I have been working for 3 years as a 契約社員, and my company informed me that they'll remove benefits for the next renewal: there will be no bonus pay to weekend/holiday shift workers, and less paid time off.

Can they just unilaterally decide this?

These are considered extra, and all legal minimum requirements are provided, but I'd like to confirm if they can just decide to worsen the contract with no negatiation whatsoever.
