Hello, I tried my best to find information about this before making a post, but I feel like I couldn’t find anything suiting my situation so I decided to make a post.
I will be moving from Japan back to the U.S. in a couple of months, and I want to know the best way to send numerous large packages there. I heard Japan Post has stopped sending packages worth over $100, but it said this is in regard to individual gifts. My items wouldn’t be “gifts” because I’m sending them to myself so I’m a bit confused about this.
On the Japan Post website they recommend using UGX, and I’m wondering if anyone has experience using this service. I have also heard people talk about using Yamato and DHL, and I would appreciate any experience that can be shared about these transport services.
Finally, if anyone has any general tips on moving internationally, I would appreciate if you could share them with me. Thank you very much for any help anyone can provide!
