When does a psychologist have to break confidentiality and call police in japan
I started to see a psychologist last week and she told me at the start that if I tell her that I want to commit a crime or want to kill myself she has to report me (to my work? police? not sure).
anyway, i do actually think about suicide a lot but I 100% would not do it, it’s ideation, not a plan. but I do actually want to talk about it to someone about why I keep having these thoughts. but I also don’t want to be involuntarily committed 🤦🏻♀️. does anyone know if I make it clear it’s just thoughts and not an a plan if it’s ok? or do I need to steer clear of the S word in Japan all together ? Is the only option here to ask Gemini?
