I'm going to Korea this year march, and will be visiting Japan for a couple days during that time frame! This is for a senior trip, so I have the full privilege to decide what I would like to do !
Things I want:
FOOD:
– Raw Seafood/Sushi/Sashimi
– Wagyu
– Ramen/Udon
– Omakase
– Cafe desserts/drinks/MATCHA!
– Street Food
ACTIVITIES:
-Onsen with Ryokan for overnight stay near the ocean!
– Aquatic/Exotic Pet stores.
– Seeing the beach!
-Seafood Market
-See Dotonburi
– Experience the konbini (LOL)
– Shop high quality and affordable baggy jeans/shirts/jackets.
-Shop skincare: Moisturizers, sunscreens, acne lion head cream, facemasks.
I have heard the Mie Prefecture matches my preferences the best with the ocean, and even known as the "Delicious Country".
Please give me reccomendations to places or cities!
My current plan is to save all the shopping, cafes, street-food and pet store to bigger cities like Osaka. And ryokan/onsen, seafood, wagyu to Mie Prefecture depending on price (I have heard Mie Prefecture to have higher quality for lower price?)
Ryokan/Onsen is a one night thing, and I plan on rest of the trip to stay at a airbnb cause its cheaper for a family of 5! (2 adults, 3 kids).
Planning on 2 nights, 3 day OR 3 nights, 4 days for a more immersed and relaxed trip.
