Selling/trading sneakers during my trip, is it worth it?

Hi all,

I’m planning a trip to Japan soon and I collect sneakers and vintage clothing. I’m interested in selling/trading some of the things I don’t use anymore (Vintage band tees, Nike Dunk SB, etc) because I’m planning on buying more on my trip and I thought well maybe I can get something to sell/trade to get more stuff to bring home.

As someone who’s only traveling, is this challenging or not even possible? I’m just asking to make sure.
