I applied for PR 7 months ago. I was initially planning to wait it out before making any career moves, but I see users waiting 20+ months for results recently, so it becomes a bit too much to just wait and not advance my career.
Other answers mentioned it is safe to change jobs as long as you ensure there are no gaps in taxes, etc. and inform the Immigration office.
Additionally, my visa is an HSP, expiring in about 3 years now.
Do I need to apply for a new HSP?
Would this be a problem? The next company is in the same field and has a similar job title.
Thank you in advance. I will talk to lawyers if necessary, but just in case I wanted to get some experiences before I meet with HR so I know the right questions to ask.
