Hello
I’m going to arrive in Osaka on 27th this month, will be staying in Japan until 3rd of February. I will be staying in Nipponbashi, Osaka. I want to see Osaka, cities nearby and also Tokyo for a day or two. Feeling a little anxious since this is going to be my first time so i’m looking for people to meet up with. I am a 28 years old guy from Turkey.
I was originally going to visit my friend there who was working on a school project and we were going to hang out together, but unfortunately he had to leave Japan early and now i am going to be all by myself 🥲.
I am interested in.. mostly nerdy stuff. Yugioh cards (i am a HUGE Yugioh nut), anime like JoJo, one piece, Fukumoto Nobuyuki’s works, video games like metal gear solid, megaman, bunch of other capcom games, some pokemon too.
So i’m hoping to buy TONS of yugioh cards&accesories like sleeves and playmats and deck boxes etc. And also anime merch especially JoJo. And also video game related stuff, i want to get my hands on 2nd hand vintage consoles like PSP, GBA, Wii and maybe some cartridges/disks for those consoles and maybe even special edition stuff. Oh also I LOVE kojima games and i want to see the Kojima Productions building and shop from there. Then also i am curious about Japanese arcade games.
I am interested in sightseeing as well but i am not prepared for it, i would need someone to guide me (my friend was going to take care of that part so yeah…)
I also want to socialize a little bit with the locals and also other tourists. Maybe go to bars, night clubs, cafes together. I’d feel too shy to approach other people by myself so some company would be very mıch appreciated.
And last and not least, I am curious about the food as well. I’m hoping to explore the food scene with the help of someone hopefully.
So yeah. Please contact me if you don’t mind tagging along with me. If you are local or an experienced tourist or a group that would be the best, but if you are also inexperienced like me, that’s fine as well. We’ll figure it out together😁
Though I live in Japan, open to meeting for food/drink or some of the tourist oriented activities in Naha or Ishigaki island.

Heyhey,
Me and my friend (both 22m) will be going to japan from january 29th to february 17. We are from Belgium and speak dutch and english fluently. We will be staying in Tokyo, Kawaguchiko, Kyoto and Osaka. If people want to meet up, send me a message. We will be doing a lot of tourist stuff and a lot of eating. Looking forward to it!
I (30, enby, but mostly read as female) will be in Japan from the 8th to 27th February. I’m from Germany, fluent in German and English.
My plan so far is Sapporo (02/08 – 11, with day trip to Otaru), Abashiri (11 – 13), Utoro (13 – 17), Kushiro (17 – 20), Rausu (20 – 22), Kushiro (22 – 23) and Tokyo (23 – 27).
I’m generally interested in wildlife (birds!), history, art, anime and video games and mainly looking for someone to drink a tea or visit a restaurant with, but am also open to other ideas (there’s an indigo dyeing workshop in Asakusa that sounds nice).
