Hello! I'm an artist based in Kyoto for the next three months for work. I'd love to soak up as much contemporary art as I can while I'm here, particularly (but not exclusively) anything ceramic-related.
A few things that I've really enjoyed so far on this trip: the Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park (clay Disneyland), the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo, and the Kyoto Art Center. Where should I go next?
Also, on a previous trip (9 years ago), I went to Naoshima. I've heard mixed reports in recent years. For folk who have been in recent years – is it worth a return trip?
