Changing from job with no included overtime allowance to one with 40h included.

I was finally successful finding a new job, and got the contract.

Surprise surprise, what they didn't tell me during negotiation is that the offer includes 40h overtime. The offer is 20% higher than my current salary, but my current salary does not include overtime.

From my understanding, as long as I don't do overtime in my new job, this would still be a good deal. But I'm wondering how much pressure in companies with such a contract are to work overtime, if anyone has experience!

It is a European company so I'm hoping it works out. Also they already told me this is the max offer they can do.
