Hello! I’ve read the FAQ and other posts, but have a couple things I can’t figure out.
My biggest questions are:
– how do I use the pass if there is no JR ticket office open? Is this required to always speak to someone?
And I cannot simply add this pass to my Suica, correct?
– is it timed by a 24hour day, or a calendar day? Before it expires, as this will affect our last day trip.
Itinerary: With a 5day pass, we plan to travel from:
– Miyazaki to Kagoshima and stay for 3 nights (day trip to Ibusuki)
– Kagoshima to Fukuoka (with possible stop in Kumamoto for lunch)
– day trip, Fukuoka to Nagasaki, on day 5 of the pass.
