Hi everyone,
Me and my family (my wife and kid) are planning to travel to Kyoto in April this year and our first stay would be at the hotel around Nagakyo Ward. Our flight is landing in KIX at 21:50 local time.
I am currently considering to take the KIX Airport Limousine Bus to Kyoto Station, then take a taxi from Kyoto station to hotel since I presume it would be cheaper than taking a taxi from KIX to hotel in Kyoto.
However, the last bus leaving to Kyoto is around 23:20, this leaves us 1 hour and 30 minutes to clear immigration and custom, and I am not sure whether we can make it. Plus I am also not sure whether the bus will be full or not, worrying I might not get the tickets even if I make it.
What option would you suggest in this case based on your experience? Thank you.
Edit: thanks everyone! After some consideration, I’ve decided to stay for 1 night at Nikko Airport hotel, and leave to Kyoto in the morning.
