We want to visit Japan April 3–17 this year. We’re trying to figure out how crowded it is then. I’m pretty claustrophobic I found out in Rome with extremely packed trains/metros. Is Japan just as packed, especially bullet trains, when traveling around the country?
We’re booking flights and have no clue where to stay we were considering Shibuya or Shiomi in Tokyo. We want to hit all the highlights, but we’re also wondering if we should hold off because April is peak season. I don’t mind large crowds but when it’s butts to faces I’m extremely uncomfortable.
