A total of 1,098 candidates are planning to run in single-seat constituencies. They consist of 285 candidates from Liberal Democratic Party, 202 from Centrist Reform Alliance, 87 from Japan Innovation Party, 102 from Democratic Party for the People, 178 from Sanseito, 158 from Japanese Communist Party, 18 from Reiwa Shinsengumi, six from Conservative Party of Japan, seven from Social Democratic Party, three from Team Mirai and 52 from other groups and independents.
