Hello there, my husband and I entered to visit the suntory distillery lottery for March and didn't get selected. We have the opportunity to visit in April as well and will enter the lottery for it, but are wondering if we still aren't selected if doing the free tour is worth it? Can we still taste whiskeys? Any help is appreciated!

EDIT: you can do a whisky tasting if you have a reservation to visit the distillery, even if you don’t have a reservation for the paid tour.
Whether it’s worth it or not is entirely subjective: for me, the tasting, atmosphere (Hakushu is much more scenic than Yamazaki) plus being able to buy Hakushu at a slight discount was enough. Your mileage may vary.
