I've recently finished immigration papers to join a company as a 新卒 (start ４月)、so I hope that you'd forgive my lack of knowledge about the world in this post.
It seems like we're allowed to (certain extents) choose where we could work, and the available sites are:
– Sapporo, Sendai, Omiya, Tokyo, Yokohama, Kanazawa, Nagoya, Osaka (currently here), Hiroshima, and Fukuoka
Personally, I don't really mind stuff like the night life, tourist attractions/events, nor outdoor hobbies. I enjoy staying at home best, drawing, playing the piano (headphones OK), taking care of plants and aquariums — basically as long as I could grab food conveniently from somewhere after work then return home to do my thing, that's plenty enough for me. Even a 20sqm apartment would be great.
Neither the biggest fan of winters nor crowded places so maybe the west would be the way to go, I can speak Japanese at a conversational level smoothly but definitely not enough to be native.
Would there be anywhere you all might be able to recommend, even outside of the provided list for a just-in-case in the future? I think Osaka's great as it is, but I wanted to hear other thoughts and opinions.
