Looking for recommendations on where to set base. We will be coming from Tokyo after doing 6 days there and I originally thought that setting base in Kyoto would be a nice change of pace, however, I see that Osaka is also highly recommended. Is staying in Kyoto fine if we do day trips to Osaka or do you recommend staying a portion of the trip in both areas(only concern is having to constantly move with luggage). Also, originally we considered doing 6 days in Kyoto or would you guys recommend doing 7?
