I need advice. I've been unemployed for a few months, applying and interviewing with no results. At this time of the year I feel I can get hired (it's still hiring season, sort of).
However, I'm stuck in an instructor visa – I think I can get hired and apply for a status change before the 10-fold price increase, but my passport expires in April. I got it when I studied abroad 10 years ago and didn't think I'd be in this situation so soon
I'm not sure how relevant the little backstory was, or if it gave good context, but anyway: what I need to know is will this affect the chances of my status change being rejected (even with a job offer)?
Thanks in advance, and I hope I didn't piss you off with my existence
