Mercari side selling on a work visa — could this affect visa renewal?

I’m working in Japan on a work visa (Engineer).

As a side activity, I sell items on Mercari.

Last year, my total sales on Mercari were about ¥1.5 million, and my actual net profit was around ¥300,000.

I recently learned that if selling on Mercari is done repeatedly, it could potentially be considered outside the permitted scope of activities under a work visa.

I plan to file a tax return for the net profit.

With this level of income, could this cause any issues when renewing my visa?
