Recieved an aggressive phone call today from a random number

Got a call this morning from a 070 number I didn’t have in my contacts. Decided to answer because sometimes I get random important calls from companies such as my gas company, rent, etc.

The woman, who sounded like she was in her 30s-40s, said something to me I couldn’t understand, so I responded (in Japanese) “I’m sorry. I don’t understand; I’m a Japanese language student.” She responded with 「え!?」And then proceeded to say something else aggressively while calling me おまえ。 A bit shocked, I said 「おまえ?なに?」(I more-so meant to express “Why are you calling me that?” instead of “What is that?”, but I was a put off guard.) She then asked if I was Japanese, to which I said I’m American. She then snapped something else and then hung up.

Is this just a case of her dialing the wrong number and being completely rude about it? Or something else I should be worried about? Was I right in assuming her calling me おまえ (in such a strong tone, too) was rude of her, or did I take it wrong?

Edit: Through the comments I’m realizing most Redditors ignore every phone call they receive (in true Redditor fashion), so I suppose opening this post up to opinions through my final questions was a bad idea.
