Hey gang. Been living in the outskirts of the greater Tokyo area for almost a year now. I'm trying really hard to get a new job but I need to get my American driver's license converted to a Japanese one. Anyone here taken that new 50 question written test yet? If so how bad was it? People who have their license converted already, how did you study for the written portion even if it was just 10 questions? Also, how did you prove your license was held 3 months before coming to Japan? I hope the issuance date and my passport stamps are enough. Some online resources would be nice, I really got to get this done asap. Hoping it won't be too difficult to do the on the road test, I think I have a pretty good idea of the ritualistic way they want you to drive for the test. Additionally, my current license has already been translated by JAF. Thanks, any help is appreciated.
