Hello Everyone! I am seeking out all the Kyoto Theatre people to put together a community theatre production of “The Importance of Being Earnest” (Abridged, one act version) as a part of the Kyoto Citywide Theatre Project, an initiative which seeks to bring together a diverse group of volunteer actors and crew members and create community through theatre while bringing the concept of “community theatre” in English to the Kyoto community. This is meant to be a fun, low pressure environment suitable for all skill levels, anyone is welcome to join! Whether you are interested in being on the stage or helping behind the scenes, please feel free to join us. We will hold in-person auditions for the cast on February 21st at the Shimogyo Iki Iki Activity center, but we also welcome video auditions for those who may not be able to make it.
