Hey everyone!
I'm currently on a student visa in Japan, and I haven't bothered getting my drivers' license in my home country (I know I know, very lazy on my part…)
I also happen to be considering to buy a motorcycle and I know it has its own separate license and exam. My question is, what would be the best-bang-for-my-buck approach here?
Should I get the drivers license for cars and then do the motorcycle one to save up money? I read up somewhere that if you have a drivers license for cars already you get some sort of discount
Or would it be more in my favor to go for the motorcycle license right away?
I don't currently own a car or plan on owning one, however it would be nice to have the option to rent for trips every once in a while
For a bit of context on my situation, I am pursuing a Masters, and plan to continue with a PhD and potentially work for a couple years so I'm looking at around 5+ years of residing here.
Thanks in advance and much appreciated for your advice!
