TIPS FOR TEAMLAB BIOVORTEX KYOTO!

Recently, I visited the teamLab Biovortex in Kyoto and I honestly think is well worth it. Spent 3 hours there (ticket only £18 per ticket)! I wanted to share some tips for those of you who were considering to go:

1: WEAR PROPER SHOES/SNEAKERS – NO HEELS OR FLIP FLOPS

The whole experience can easily take up to 3-5 hours, and towards the last parts, there is a section called "Athletic Forest" where you can participate in physical activities. The staff WILL check that you have appropriate shoes on to ensure you avoid any potential injury from jumping or climbing on the exhibits.

2: IT WILL ALWAYS BE CROWDED
We went for the opening slot, which was useful for a short time to get some nice photos and videos but honestly, within less than an hour, it WILL get crowded and busy! So fair warning if you're considering trying to get 'solo photos', it won't be possible

3: LOCKERS AND LUGGAGE STORAGE ARE FREE TO USE

Before entering the experience, there is an area where you can store your jackets, bags and luggage too – and it's FREE. So if you're coming before hotel check-in, it will be safe for you to leave your luggage at the locker area

4: PERFECT EXPERIENCE FOR FAMILY TRAVELERS

teamLab, in my opinion, is VERY family-friendly! They have so many experience that allow for children to happily interact and enjoy (BUT PLEASE FOLLOW THE RULES! I saw lots of children going mental climbing on things they shouldn't)

If you are considering going while in Kyoto and want to see the highlights of what to expect, then check out this video so you can make your decision: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igzTOF43kQA

I hope this was helpful 😀 Let me know if you have any questions, I will answer based on my experience
