When I came out here I had a lot of plans for picking up some hobbies that would get me deeper into Japanese culture. I was going to try shodo(Japanese calligraphy), kendo and even flirted with the thought of learning shamisen.
Well over a decade has gone by and I'm proud to say I've picked up karaoke. Box karaoke with friends.
