Im doing kaishi 1.5k and i have 58 words matured. Ive been studying a little under a month.
I see some people say to immerse in whatever you want and some people say to keep it comprehensible. So far ive been listening to nihongo con teppei beginner to and from work, watching jp lets plays during my lunch break. And im 4 chapters in to a beginner recommended manga while looking up almost every word.
So i am immersing im just wondering if it would be dumb to try a video game. Im not gonna go tol crazy though. My plan is to try and play zelda twilight princess in japanese. It happens to be my favorite game ever and i know it has furigana.
Do you think im too early to find that enjoyable though? I would still have to probably look up next to everything.
Btw i also use bunpro and renshuu to reinforce my anki stuff, and i have read through the first part of yokubi!
